Linux kernel 4.9.11

I’ve been running a self compiled kernel version 4.9.11 for the past couple of days and it seems to work. I also had to patch my legacy Nvidia drivers.
$ uname -a
Linux hp-laptop 4.9.11 #1 SMP Sat Feb 18 16:59:57 CET 2017 x86_64 Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T6400 @ 2.00GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux

Linux kernel 4.4.43

Now running Linux kernel 4.4.43. I think I’m going to stick with this kernel for a couple of days, even if Greg Kroah-Hartman releases 4.4.44 this week.
$ uname -a
Linux hp-laptop 4.4.43 #1 SMP Sun Jan 15 18:49:57 CET 2017 x86_64 Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T6400 @ 2.00GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux

Linux kernel 4.4.42

I’ve been running Linux kernel 4.4.42 the last two days and it seems to work well. Only two more patches and then we will have a palindrome…
$ uname -a
Linux hp-laptop 4.4.42 #1 SMP Fri Jan 13 03:04:56 CET 2017 x86_64 Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T6400 @ 2.00GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux

Linux 4.4.39 and Slackware64-current

Now running a self complied custom Linux kernel 4.4.39. Also upgraded to Slackware64-current now that nVidia has released legacy drivers that support X.org 1.19 (ABI 23).
